This sentence best reflects our work philosophy. We use the latest technologies and AI-supported solutions, but it is experience, cinematic intuition, and the ability to work with reality that form our foundation.

At West Shore Films, we also refer to ourselves as Light Cavalry. The name is intentional and multi-faceted. First, it refers to the tactics of light cavalry: fast, agile, precise, and effective, working with minimal equipment and personnel. Secondly, it directly alludes to our approach to light. We work with light dynamically and consciously. We shape it quickly, creatively, and exactly where it’s needed.

Speed of execution is our distinguishing feature. We are known for being able to set up and capture shots in a very short time, without compromising quality - the shots we create are on par with scenes from high-budget productions. There are no long downtimes, hours of waiting for the set to be ready, or extensive technical setups. Our team works quietly, precisely, with a full understanding of what we do and why we do it.

Instead of a sprawling film set, we deliver a professional result that comes together quickly and without disrupting the rhythm of your production. We work in a way that doesn’t unnecessarily engage your energy, resources, or team.

This approach extends beyond the shooting set.

Editing is another area where we operate with the same efficiency. Our workflow involves quick, thoughtful post-production - both in the main version and in language variants, shortened versions, or social media formats. We rely on AI tools to speed up tasks like selection, creating rough cuts, or preparing subtitled versions - but all editorial decisions are made by a person with a sense of rhythm, dramaturgy, and emotion.

When it comes to equipment, we work with Sony and Canon cameras, as well as professional lighting and sound systems. We choose tools that match the project, not the other way around. We don’t create unnecessary hype around technology - the final image and the truth we’ve captured in it is what matters most.

Our experience stems from the Łódź Film School but has expanded through working on music videos, TV series, reports, commercials, documentaries, and promotional materials. This has given us a deep understanding of different formats, and we know how to adapt to them without losing our character or quality.
